Multi-award winning author Beth Carter pens novels and children’s picture books after working in corporate America for over 25 years in marketing, healthcare, banking, and green heat. Now, enjoying her dream job as a writer, sans eight o’clock meetings and heels, the author often writes from home or at Starbucks.

Her newest release, MIRACLE ON AISLE TWO,  is a Christmas novella about a distraught single mother who is fired two weeks before Christmas. It released November, 2017 on Amazon.

Carter’s contemporary romance novel, SLEEPING WITH ELVIS, received a 2017 Raven Award for “Favorite Contemporary” runner-up by Uncaged Book Reviews. Featuring an Elvis impersonator as the hero and a couple from Nowhere, Arkansas on a dream vacation to Key Lime Island. The author’s publisher is Soul Mate Publishing out of New York.

The author’s debut women’s fiction, THURSDAYS AT COCONUTS, released in 2014 by Soul Mate Publishing and won two coveted awards: “Best Women’s Fiction/Chick Lit” by InD’Tale Magazine and “Best Debut Author” by BTS Books in 2015. Coconuts will be a four-book series filled with humor, suspense, and romance. Book 2, CHAOS AT COCONUTS, will release April 2018.

Her novelette, SANTA BABY, released in an eight-author holiday collection in 2015 by Soul Mate Publishing.

The author’s four children’s picture books include: SOUR POWER, WHAT DO YOU WANT TO BE?, THE MISSING KEY, and SANTA’S SECRET.

Additionally, Carter has several short stories and poems in multiple anthologies and her six-word memoirs appear in collections alongside famous writers and celebrities. Formerly a bank vice president for Citizens National Bank in Springfield, Missouri, and a public relations director for Doctors Hospital of Springfield, Carter was born and raised in the Midwest. She attended Central High School and Drury University.
