Beth Carter, Author

Missouri author Beth Carter pens novels and children’s picture books. Her newest novel, SLEEPING WITH ELVIS, releases August, 2016. Her novelette, SANTA BABY, released in a holiday collection in 2015, and her award-winning debut novel, THURSDAYS AT COCONUTS, released in 2014. All were published by Soul Mate Publishing. The author’s three children’s picture books include: WHAT DO YOU WANT TO BE? THE MISSING KEY and SANTA’S SECRET.

Additionally, Carter has several short stories and poems in anthologies and her six-word memoirs appear in collections alongside famous writers and celebrities. Formerly a bank vice president for Citizens National Bank in Springfield, Missouri, and a public relations director for Doctors Hospital of Springfield, Carter was born and raised in the Midwest. She attended Central High School and Drury University. She has over 25 years’ marketing experience in healthcare, banking, and green heat.
